Our instructors
Gourav and Rishi started yoga school at the ages of 10 and 12, and practiced with family even earlier. They are highly trained in Curative Yoga for the benefit of health and have helped many people in Canada and India. Finally theyve opened GYAN YOGA, where they invite you to come and practice the most secretive traditional yoga practices for ideal health.
Both Gourav and Rishi are also certified with the Yoga Alliance USA, "RYT500"

Gourav
Gourav joined yoga school at the age of 10, studying yoga intensively for five years, winning many yoga competitions for his region and state. He learned yoga asanas for flexibility, strength, healthy mind and body, but that wasnt enough. Gourav wanted to go deeper, and joined yoga school in the Himalayan Mountains, learning intense breathing exercises, chanting, and meditation that recharges your body and makes the mind calm, and optimistic. Gourav started teaching Yoga in India and helped bring relief from health problems like joint pain, arthritis, migraines, hypertension, high blood pressure and more. He brought his lifetime of knowledge to Canada three years ago, and also helped with some of the more complicated health problems of his students. Gourav specializes in teaching a centuries-old breathing system called pranayama. Pranayama boosts your immune system, making it strong, and in turn, helping to heal your body. Once you practice pranayama for a while, your body reaches a level where it starts regenerating instead of degenerating. It makes you not just look younger but you actually feel younger! You can shave years off your body, with practice and patience.


Rishi
Rishi joined yoga school at the age of 12. He studied and learned yoga for four years and won yoga competitions for his region twice. He learned yoga asanas for a healthy body and mind but was more interested in the next level of yoga. He believed that yoga is not just to make your mind calm but also to develop a strong will, enabling you to do anything you want. So he started learning meditation, chanting and deep concentration skills. He also learned many different mantras, a set of words repeated in your mind during meditation. Rishi quickly discovered that Yoga helped him in his studies, his profession, his day-to-day life, and decision-making. He graduated 5th in his university class, and scored the highest marks in two of his subjects. He attributes his success to a daily yoga practice, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation. And specializes in meditation, chanting, and concentration.
